We are constantly offering an open position for a one-year legal internship to prepare for the bar exam in Valais. We are looking for motivated and open individuals with a master's degree from a Swiss university. We will provide you with a comprehensive insight into our work as lawyers and optimal preparation for the bar exam in the Canton of Valais. They work independently on outstanding legal cases under close supervision and are in direct contact with clients, authorities and courts every day. Even during your internship, you can set priorities for your professional career as a lawyer in your preferred area of law.

The internship in the canton of Valais lasts at least 18 months, including at least one year in a lawyer's office.

After receiving your master's degree, you will join our firm for one year and together we will transform your theoretical knowledge in civil law, criminal law and public law into practical knowledge. Based on our experience, we highly recommend that you complete further internships before or after your legal internship with us at a District Court in Upper Valais (Brig, Visp or Leuk), at Cantonal Court of Valais in Sion or at Public Prosecutor's Office in Brig graduate. During your internship as a lawyer in Valais, you will also benefit from an extensive training program, which is offered by Valais Bar Association organized together with the Valais Cantonal Court.

In our law firm, we also offer the opportunity to complete a notary internship. From initial contact with customers, preparation of the notarial act, participation in notarization to post-processing of notarized documents, you work as independently as possible under the supervision of the notary. This will prepare you in the best possible way for the notary exams in the Canton of Valais.

The full-time duration of the notary internship in Valais is 12 months. In accordance with the legal basis, we offer you the opportunity to complete the notary internship with a reduced workload of 80% and combine this with employment of 20% in our law firm as a lawyer, then the duration of the notary internship is extended to 14 months.

During the one-year internship, we will organize two internships lasting several weeks in Oberwallis Commercial Register Office and in Brig or Leuk land registry office and you regularly attend compulsory training courses organized by the Canton of Valais.

We offer a three-day short internship for college students. This gives you a first impression of what everyday life looks like in a law firm and what exciting tasks we face every day in our professional life.

For law students at a university, we offer the opportunity to try out our services for between two and four weeks. You can take on initial legal work yourself, look over the shoulders of our lawyers and gain valuable practical experience.
