We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal data protection regulations, in particular the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and the associated Data Protection Ordinance (DSV). This privacy policy informs you what personal data we collect in connection with the operation of our website www.anwalt-wallis.ch, for what purpose we use it and what rights you have with regard to your data.

3. Data collection when you visit our website

3.1 Server log files

When you visit our website, the web server automatically stores technical access data in so-called server log files. These include: IP address of the requesting device (anonymized), date and time of access, page or file accessed, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system and referrer URL.

This data is used exclusively to ensure the technical operation of the website, to analyze errors and to improve our offering. A combination with other data sources does not take place. The log files are automatically deleted after 30 days at the latest.

3.2 Cookies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies, which are necessary for the operation of the site. These cookies contain no personal data and are deleted after the browser is closed (session cookies) or stored for a limited period of time. We do not use tracking cookies or cookies for advertising purposes.

We treat all personal data that is entrusted to us as part of a mandate relationship with strict confidentiality. This data is used exclusively to provide the contracted legal services and is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the provision of services or is required by law.

6. Hosting and technical operation

Our website is technically operated and hosted by Valpix GmbH, Kehrstraße 12, CH-3904 Naters (hallo@valpix.ch). Valpix GmbH acts as an order processor and processes personal data exclusively in accordance with our instructions and legal requirements.

7. Transfer of data to third parties

As a matter of principle, we do not share your personal data with third parties, except insofar as this is necessary to provide our services (e.g. involvement of courts, authorities, counterparties as part of a mandate), if you have given your express consent, if we are required to do so by a legally binding administrative or court order. It will not be shared for advertising purposes.

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by legal storage obligations. Mandate-related data is subject to professional and legal retention periods of generally 10 years.
